Member Bio: Frannie

Hello, my name is Fran. I am 24 years old and I guess you can say have had many paranormal experiences growing up. My parent’s house has seen it’s fair share of paranormal activity and now it seems my grandparent’s house has become somewhat active in their recent passing.

The earliest experience I can remember was sitting in the backyard with my two older sisters under an old peach tree. My oldest sister got up for some reason and told me and my other sister to do the same. Just as we walked inside, we heard a terrible crash and found out that the peach tree had fallen right where we were sitting. It freaked out my dad because he knew if we had remained there, we would all have been seriously hurt.

On some nights when I was little, I would hear hushed whispers. Like two people were where talking to each other right in the same room as me. I knew it wasn’t my sister because she slept in the room next to me. My dad worked the graveyard shift and my mom was always asleep till he came home. I could never make out the words.

Perhaps the freakiest experience my family had was when all the paper rolls in the house unrolled by themselves. We were all sitting down for dinner. Across from me, was my dad, my sister to the right, and my other sister to the left. My mom had just served us and was walking back into the kitchen to get her plate when she stopped suddenly. My dad noticed something was off and got up to see what it was. My mom was shocked to see the paper towels unrolling by themselves. My dad stood there a moment and called us to come to kitchen. We all got up to see what was going on. Sure enough, the towels were unrolling faster and faster as if by an unseen hand. As we all watched this, my dad had realized he had to go to work and went into the bathroom to shave and shower. It was also discovered that the toilet paper in our two bathrooms had also unrolled. And at the time we didn’t own any cats or dogs. Just two parakeets that we kept in a cage in the living room.

The activity at my parent’s house was sporadic throughout the years. Occasionally I’d see a shadow dart across the living room or my dad would say he felt like something was watching him when he was in the computer room. One night while I was walking down the hallway to go into the bathroom I noticed something standing in my bedroom doorway. It looked to be about 5 or 6 feet tall, hunched over, and black… though I could still see the white wall behind it. Its face was actually white. I couldn’t make out any features though. Startled, I called for my mom… who was in the porch washing clothes. It scared me because I had never experienced anything like it.

The three more recent experiences I’ve had happened after deaths of family members. On the day my grandpa died, me and my dad were leaving to go to my grandparent’s house to visit. I was walking behind my dad making sure the lights in the bathroom were off when he let out a shout. I turned around and could barely make out a figure standing by my sister’s bed. It had walked through the wall as if it wasn’t there. It startled my dad greatly. I still think it was my grandpa telling us a quick goodbye.

My boyfriend (now husband) lost his grandma last year. I had the opportunity to meet her before she had passed. She really liked me and I grew attached to her as well. After her funeral, I was home with my cat. She likes to cuddle with me when I sleep so I let her under my covers. Then I saw from what I could describe as a blue-ish white mist moving from the wall to my computer. It startled me… I wasn’t scared just caught off guard.

On the night my grandma died, I was looking through old photos of her and my grandpa at their house. I was holding a picture of them on their 25th wedding anniversary. It seemed so fitting that I find it as she drew her last breath. As the night progressed and we waited for the coroner to pick up her body, family members came by to visit and see her. We maybe had 10 or so people in the house at a time but I felt like there was more… like 30 or 40 people. There was so much energy in the house it was actually stifling.

I tend to over-analyze activity and try to come up with ways to debunk evidence. I don’t believe in psychics who say they can talk to the dead but I’m open to the ability to pick up on certain feelings (being Empathic). I’m a Catholic but I’m not too overly religious. I am fascinated by the angel and demon hierarchy, but I don’t feel comfortable around certain aspects of the occult… mostly because the energy that gets released from that is usually by kids who think it’s cool to summon demons. I’m also open to dimensional rifts and faeries.

Hi, my name is Chris, I am 28 years old.

I have always been interested in the paranormal as far back as I can remember. My first experience happened at, or near, the age of 6. I remember vaguely but I was about to go outside when I saw a white face appear on the glass window of the door. It looked flat, had two dark eyes like a mask, and I ran into my mother's room. *laugh* My mother took me back to try to make me feel better, and to show me it was my imagination, but I saw it as real as everything alse around me at the time.
I wasn't the only one who experienced things in the house I spent my young life in Los Angeles.

One experience I shared with my mother, and father. We have seen a female entitiy on several occasions who seemed to just stand around. She was solid black, blacker than the darkness of a dark room. (If that makes any sense)

While I stayed at the house, I have heard ghostly voices and have seen numerous entities who didn't seem human, like imp-like creatures or gnomes. Something malicious who gave off an evil aura. I also had countless bouts of sleep paralysis as I stayed there. Ever since I moved out of that house, I haven't really experienced anything in my new house, as it was recently built. But my mind is open to research and I am hoping that we find good evidence to share with everyone.

I have a huge interest in different entities like gnomes, nature spirits, humans spirits, and malicious demonic entities. I also beleive in the astral plain and the other dimensions out there that I believe one day will be proven as factual. I think with a more scientific mind rather than emotions, gut feelings, or spirituality.

Hello! This is Lindsay. I am 21 years old and have had paranormal encounters since moving to a strange house in the middle of nowhere at around 10 years of age.

My first paranormal experience was when I walked outside on a strangely still day to sit on the trampoline in the backyard. After a little while I turn my head to face the mountains and see a solid figure of a woman in a long flowing white dress floating above the feilds a few yards from where I was sitting. She floated to and fro before dissapearing. I blinked a couple of times while I watched her so I knew she wasn't a figment of my imagination. You could say after that moment I was pretty freaked out. I never ran so fast in my entire life. Her image has been stuck in my mind since that day.
I still can't find out what kind of spirit she might have been. The closest to fit her description was a Banshee.

Since then, I've had pretty numerous encounters in that house. I truely believe that it was haunted. My experiences in that house are what got me into the paranormal.

At late hours, I would hear the sink in the bathroom across the hallway from my room turn on and off randomely. The big TV out in the den on the other side of the house would turn on to loud static and shut off quickly. I would also hear loud knocks in the hallway getting louder and lighter as if someone was walking down the hallway and knocking on the wall as they went.
As I layed down in my bed some nights, I would hear footsteps on the carpet, and my cat would look at something invisible in my closet for extended periods of time. Not only that, but I had frequent bouts of sleep paralysis accompanied by strange piercing noises.

Another night as I sat in the back of a truck at the neighbor's house down the street, I saw a blue orb of light float above tall grass.

After I got a computer set up in my room, the activity in there seemed to cease, and if there was anymore activity anywhere else in the house, I didn't notice it.

After I moved, I stayed in Arkansas for a while, sleeping in a room that my deceased great grandmother used to sleep. I didn't see or hear anything while I stayed there, but my cat would focus on the foot of the bed as if watching something.

I'm now a resident of Riverside, and I haven't experienced much since my move. A few things here and there.

In the Rubidoux cemetary, as I was playing with a wind chime over a dead soldier's grave, an angry face flashed in my vision, and as I was leaving I spotted a pair of legs following alongside of me for a brief moment.

My most recent experience happened not too long ago as I was investigating my old house. (which is now torn down and all that remains is a lonely chimney)
As I was walking on the cracked cement of what was my old porch, I heard the crunching of footsteps next to me, I looked at my boyfriend and he was standing still looking at the chimney. I then heard what sounded like a hollow pipe being swung next to my ear twice, and my ears started to ring. Me and him took off after that, because I had a feeling I wasn't welcome. In that same night we took a dirt road up to a cliffside to see a good view of riverside. As we parked and my boyfriend stopped the engine, a loud howling noise engulfed the truck and rocked it like a strong gust of wind was blowing against it. When it was over, we rolled down our windows and the air was still.

I'm a little bit of a skeptic when it comes to ghosts. I do not believe in orbs or psychics and I am more of a debunker, and think with a more scientific mind. I do believe in gates, different dimensions, and some kind of life after death.
My interests are focused on ghosts and demons, as well as otherworldly beings (shadow people.) I'm not too religious, but I do believe in malicious, or helpful spiritual beings. (Angels, demons.)
