House Investigation July 19th

Written by: Lindsay

Me and Chris decided to check out and investigate my grandmother's apartment complex (Which is actually a 100 year old big victorian house)
It interested me because of the stories that some of the tenants have told about a woman ghost or other entities. Another tenant claimed that a girl ghost was spotted in her bedroom along with frequent cold spots and a shadowy figure darting across the den area. A relative of mine, when she was young, told stories of seeing a white woman ghost, possibly the mother of the children kept in the nursery (The apartment my grandma now lives in) In one story she walked into the bathroom and found her in the bathtub, and in another she woke up to seeing the ghost looking over her at the side of the bed.
Pictures have been taken where a white entity is seen, the same shape, and same transparency. All seem to be around the same person. (The person in white in the photo.) Since that photo though, no more sightings have been reported upstairs.

The apartment that had the most activity, sadly, was not accessable as the owner was ill. (But it does seem to pick up when the owner's 11 or so year old daughter is visiting). But that didn't stop me and Chris from going into the attic and the room below it to investigate and try to communicate with whatever entities might have been there.
We were met with no luck in the attic, and the room below it held no promise either. The only thing noteworthy that happened was the door to the outside porch rattled, and there were bumps, like heavy footsteps, on the porch a little ways away behind us.

I specualted that it might have been a stray cat, as they are common in the neighborhood and frequent the porch where my grandma leaves catfood.
Upon investigation, I saw that there were no cats anywhere around, or on the porch, which was strange.

We will be going back here for another investigation soon, as this place holds some promise of activity.

Ghost Investigation July 18th

Written by: Lindsay

Today's hunt was bizarre.
What started as a birthday gift for Chris's younger sister to take her on a spooky trip, ended with me running to the truck screaming.

This hunt started with us going to my old house, nothing of interest happened besides a freaky noise, like a person retching. I brushed it off as a horse snort, or a neighbor. Sound travels freakishly far from its source around there.
We went to the stone shack on Alessandro, hoping to get something, but ended up leaving when we found an huge turd in the middle of the floor. Probably the product of a bizarre ritual.

Our last visit was spontaneous. I was telling Chris that we should investigate an area where me and my brother found an overturned car. There is a street near Dracaea that takes you to a bridge next to a deep fault. The bridge is blocked off with a gate on each end, and they were locked with a thick padlock. We got out with the intent of seeing if we could get any readings in the area.

When nothing came up, we decided to go on the bridge for fun. While walking around we hear a bang, like someone kicked one of the iron pillars on the sides. I debunked it by jumping up and down, it was just a creak or something from being in use. As we walk around we notice red/brown stains all over. The stains were in very random spots. At first I tried to pass it off as oil.

This thought soon left as I noticed that they stopped abruptly a few feet from the gate on the end. If it was oil from a car, it would have kept on going through to the road on the other side, and it would not be so random. Also each puddle had a different concentration of the substance. All stains looked to be around the same age as well, like they appeared about the same time.

I tried to remember where the stains were, I drew this diagram out of my memory.

We thought these stains to be blood, so we began to look around for an animal that might have made the mess in a struggle. Though I'm not too sure an animal would have made stains in such a way. We ended up dismissing the animal idea.
While investigating around the bridge, we heard soft banging noises coming from it. We brushed them off as leftover noises from being stepped on. Chris began asking whatever entity might have been in the area to make the noise again. We were met with silence. I asked it to communicate, and yet again we were met with silence, but we had a weird feeling and cold sweat. Chris's sister claimed the meter went off to a solid yellow for a few seconds, and as we were all starting to leave, we heard the gate near us rattle loudly. Chris told us to stop, he heard voices.
I heard loud whispering, and right after they stopped we heard a huge bang from the bridge, like something heavy was dropped onto it.
We all took off running back to the truck. It was silly, but it shocked all of us.

Haunt information:

Not much activity or readings from the K2 meter. But we get frequent feelings of being watched and hear unexplainable noises. Readings went crazy near the road and olive groves across the street.

Stories:

My brothers told me a story about how they saw a manifestation of a demonic head outside their window. See my member bio for more information.

Rating:
1-5
Other than my old experiences and a few strange noises here and there. not much has happened there. It is an interesting place to visit. This is subject to change of course with further investigations.

Caution when visiting. There are many creepy crawlies in the area, like mice, venemous spiders, and rattle snakes. Wear thick shoes and pants when investigating.

Haunt information:
Rumors from several sources state that bodies have been dumped in the area, and has been the scene of a murder. Our guess is the spirits of humans, animals, or demons may be in the area, especially near the top of the mountain.

Stories:
One is of a friend and her boyfriend who drove down the mountain and spotted a strange patch of fog on a seemingly normal fogless day. As they drove through the fog they heard a noise like a moan or a sigh.
One story by Chris's sister claims that as her and her friends neared the top of the mountain, the windows fogged and they could see the small hand prints of children appear.
Another story comes from Chris and me. As we sat on the top of the mountain to watch the view, a strong gust of wind shook the truck violently and made a howl. When we opened the doors, there was no hint of wind.

: 4-5.
Some spots along the road will give a random unexplainable reading that may or may not easily be speculated. The fact that Chris experienced a nose bleed after I asked some unseen force to communicate leads us to believe that something does reside in the area. We both got a malicious feeling from it.

Use caution as the road is narrow and hard to see in the dark, and is frequently visited by others. You may have to squeeze carefully to the side to let others pass. If you decide to visit, do so late at night and do not draw attention to yourself when making your way through the residential area at the base of the mountain.

Tonight me and Chris decided to check out the Sherman Indian School Cemetery on Indiana Ave. in Home Gardens.
It was referred to me by my dad who found it on a strange detour. Sadly, this graveyard was surrounded by cluttered residential areas, and is right on the side of the road. There was too much traffic to do anything, for fear of police involvement. If you decide to check it out late night, be careful of suspicious residents who may call the cops if you park near their house.

Not very ideal for a ghost hunt. Enter at your own risk.

Late post. But I thought I'd update about this ghost hunt in particular. Very freaky.

I started off pretty harmless, yet surprising. We passed a certain spot on Pigeon Pass road and the lights on our K2 meter would flash to a solid yellow (Mid way on the color meter) for several seconds. We went back and fourth on the road a few times before leaving. Each time we passed that same spot, the meter would go off. Sometimes it would flash to red (Highest reading) It was completely random. What was strange is that it would remain completely flat when we passed under low hanging power lines/underground lines and transformers.

Later that night, we were really excited about the results and decided to make another pass, this time driving up the side of the mountain at the end of the road. Before leaving, I had a strange pressure sensation on my shoulders and neck. Chris had a weird headache that was more painful near the back of his head. He asked me to wave the K2 meter around him and it lit up to a very solid yellow only when I focused on the spot his headache was concentrated. I tried to record this event, but the camera would not turn on, like the brand new batteries we put in were already dead.
It was very strange, but he told me his headache went away as we went farther up the road. The readings coming off of him went flat and the camera was able to turn on.

As we made our way to the dirt road that went up the mountain, the meter flashed in the same spot as usual. Once on the dirt road, about halfway up, the meter went crazy, flashing to orange then red (highest readings)
There was really nothing electrical around besides the truck, but the K2 meter was not placed anywhere near where I got the usual readings from it.

The pressure on my neck increased as we neared the top. We parked and turned the truck off. That's when I began to ask questions. What happened after that was shocking, and caught me completely off guard. It was frightening.

There was nothing electrical around us at the time, and the meter just went berserk. As I asked whatever was there to communicate, it seemed to acknowledge us by lighting up the meter. A few seconds later, Chris's nose began to bleed and the pressure on my neck was extremely heavy. That is when we decided to leave. On the way down, the readings were crazy, flashing red all the way down like an entity was following us.

It seems strange that during that our conversation it seemed to acknowledge what we were saying by making the meter flash. No other notable incidents happened when we got to the main road though.

Mini Ghost investigation July 15th

Written by: Lindsay

With our recently purchased K2 meter, me and Chris set out to investigate my old house which I believed housed some sort of negative entity. We were a bit reluctant to leave the vehicle after seeing a white four legged creature dart in front of the truck, but after gathering our nerves we got out and began to ask questions, all the while holding our meter out in front of us (Which was a flat green the whole time) as we ventured around the concrete foundation that was once a home to me.
One question I asked, "Please step in front of this device to communicate with us," was met with a throaty reching noise.
The house next door kept several horses around it, and through the duration of our investigation we heard a variety of noises including snorts and wheezes. But nothing like what we heard, which was heard not from that house but halfway in between the field that separated the two properties. But of course that can easily be speculated. But in my lifetime around horses and other hooved animals, I have never heard a noise such as that come from them. A cough can sound strange, but it has a more nasal tone in it.

*Chris believed it was a very human noise, trying to scream and get us away from the property.
*With being around so many animals my entire life, I have never heard an animal make such a noise.

After our investigation, we burned a stick of sage which had lightened our mood and calmed us, and watched the stars for a while. But as we did so, the feeling of being watched, and to me, being squeezed from the inside slowly returned, like the entitiy was slowly advancing on us from all around.
We had the feeling that we should not be there anymore, and took it as a signal to leave.

As we made our way down the 60 freeway I left the K2 meter on, it was showing a flat green EVERYWHERE inside the truck up until we decided to take the road up to the mountain side on Pidgeon Pass. While driving, the K2 meter flashed red for a few seconds and the radio turned on, and it began to play the CD player. (NOTE: The radio requires a hard push on a button to turn on, and the CD player requires yet another push on the "CD" button. This required two physical pushes) For a while the K2 meter would flash yellow near the radio while it was off. It stopped as we took the dirt road to the mountain side. It was completely flat as we drove.

(We decided to drive over there because of a story my friend told me. She said as she and her boyfriend were driving down the mountain, they drove through a strange patch of fog which made a moan or a sigh as they went through it.)

When me and Chris drove through the same exact spot my friend had pointed out to me, the light on the K2 meter flashed to yellow and stayed for several second until we drove out of whatever electromagnetic field may have been there. We turned around, and it flashed yellow again as we drove through the same spot. Then went completely flat. (Keep in mind it was an empty road with nothing electronic around it. Everything was completely dark.)

On our way back, nothing out of the ordinary happened. But just in case, we burned some sage and told whatever it was that might have followed us that it was not welcome.
